a2z Physical Therapy is currently seeking PRN and part-time physical therapists to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to patients in their homes. Responsibilities:
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as joint mobility/range, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments.
- Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
- Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy plan of care.
- Educate clients, family members, or other representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations about client care management and services provided
Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel throughout our service area
- Valid physical therapy license in Maryland
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or a related field.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries and experience working with insurance companies and case managers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients' homes.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

a2z Physical Therapy was started with one main goal: provide quality physical therapy in the comfort of patients’ homes after they have gone through a trauma such as a car accident. This goal is the driving force behind every step of the company, from the clinicians in the field doing the treatments to the management and marketing team.
We understand that this is a difficult time for our patients, so not only do we want to help them recover from their physical ailments, but we also want to help them with understanding the steps that come along with managing a personal injury. We do not offer the typical treatments that you find from most providers after getting into a car accident. Our patients will each receive one-on-one care directly from a physical therapist during their entire treatment, and manual (hands-on) treatment is performed at each visit.
We make sure the patient receives the skilled care they need, and deserve, based on the specific injury and deficit reported by the patient directly.
